St. Patrick's Day Celebration!!!

The Pub opened on March 9, 2010, so we've now been in business for thirteen years THANKS to the wonderful and supportive Barrington region along with all our fantastic, loyal patrons! Since in 2020 we had to forgo the annual party, this year marks our 13th annual celebration. In the past we've been able to do some extravagent, full-blown "Barrington Celtic Fests" with a large festival tent, numerous merchants, many bands & other activities. Sadly we can now all relate to the fact that times and financial constraints have changed quite a bit, so unfortunately there will be no big tent outside this year. Having said all that, we are planning for a rollicking Friday & Saturday throughout both levels of the Pub and the connected "Fork & Cork" expansion banquet hall next door... plenty of room for all inside and no worries about any weather issues! We thank you for your understanding and look forward to seeing you over the weekend!

We apologize for the inconveniences, but in order to best accommodate everyone it's necessary for us to make some temporary adjustments to our normal operations. Paper and plastic serving ware will be used for food and drinks while this limited menu is in effect. We do NOT take any reservations for any reason during these days. Additionally, since our staff will be extremely busy serving the high volume of our in-house patrons, on St. Patrick's Day we will NOT be taking any carryout orders over the phone, DoorDash online ordering/delivery will be unavailable and it's likely that we won't even be able to answer our phones.

DIRECTIONS TO THE PUB

We are located in downtown Barrington at McGonigal’s Pub at 105 S. Cook Street, which is located one block east of Rt. 59 (Hough Street) and half a block south of Lake-Cook Road (Main Street). Access to the event via the Union Pacific Northwest Metra Rail is very convenient as the event is located only two blocks west of the Barrington Station. Plentiful & free parking is available all weekend in the Metra station, and also in the downtown Barrington area.
